Tencent Cloud International Pte. Ltd. uses your personal data to provide the features and services through our survey platform that comprise the Services. We also use your information for account set up and maintenance, payment processing, troubleshooting and to support and improve the Services. Detailed information is set out in the “How do we use this information, and what is the legal basis for this use?” section.
Data is shared with third party service providers to support the Services as well as processing your transactions. We also have affiliates around the world who help us deliver the Services and we may be required by a court or legal obligation to disclose certain information in some circumstances. Detailed information is set out in the “How we share your personal data” section.
This policy describes how Tencent Cloud International Pte. Ltd. and our affiliated entities ("Tencent", "we" or "us", “our”) will make use of your data in relation to our web-based survey platform available at https://wesurvey.com and any upgrades, extensions, improvements, and derivative works of the foregoing, and any related support and professional services (“Services”).
It also describes your data protection rights, including the right to object to some of the processing which Tencent carries out. More information about your rights, and how to exercise them, is set out in the “Your choices and rights” section.
Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, you may not use the Services or provide your information to us through the Services.
We collect and process personal data about individuals in the following categories:
Creator. Customer who creates surveys, forms, or questionnaires using our Services. For contents of any question or attachment provided to us for the Creator to set up a survey (“Survey Data”), such Creator is the controller, we are the processor of Survey Data.
Respondent. Individual who receives a survey, forms or questionnaire powered by the Services. For information provided by a Respondent through responding to a survey, filling out a form, submitting an application to a Creator using our Services (“Survey Response Data”), such Creator is the controller, we are the processor of Survey Response data.
Visitor. Individual who visits our website for exploring the Services information or accessing a survey as a guest.
The types of personal data we collect from you when you interact with us and use our Services include the followings:

This includes information provided for troubleshooting purpose such as error message, network type, output, resource ID, single step debugging information, Status. |

Our website is not directed at children and our Services are not intended for children. By children, we mean users under the age of 16. Pursuant to our contract with you, we may transfer data outside of the location in which you are based for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We have servers for the Service in Singapore. We also have support, engineering and other teams who may support the Service from Singapore and Mainland China.
Transfers between our affiliates and to third parties use applicable safeguards, such as incorporating standard contractual clauses, obtaining your consent first or taking into account adequacy assessments.
Only where necessary will we share your personal data with third parties. Situations where this occur are:
Third parties that provide services in support of the Service. All third party service providers providing services for us are prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing your personal data for any purpose except where strictly necessary for the Service (i.e., for the purpose(s) described above).
Companies within our corporate groupwho process your personal data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. All such group companies may only use your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Regulators, judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies. There are circumstances in which we may be legally required to disclose information about you, such as to comply with legal obligations or processes. In complying with the terms of valid legal processes, such as a subpoena, or search warrant, unfortunately we may not be able to seek your consent to or notify you in advance of such disclosure.
Third parties to ensure safety, security, or compliance with laws. We may disclose your information to:

If you have unresolved concerns, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the country that you reside in or, the country of your place of work or the country where the alleged infringement took place.
Where we process Account Data, Service Usage and Interaction Data, Device and Connection Data, Billing and Subscription Data, we do this for as long as you are an active user of our Services, we retain the personal data until you terminate the Services or request to delete your account with us.
Where we process contents of any message or attachments provided relating to your communications with us, we retain the personal data for the communications.
In relation to survey responses and survey information shared with the Creator, the retention period of such data is determined by the Creator, and not by us. Please reach out to the Creator for more information.
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time, and we will provide you with a new privacy policy when we make any substantial updates. We may also notify you in other ways from time to time about the processing of your personal data.
